Nonstop International Flights Option from San Diego in 2026

While San Diego is known as “America’s Finest City” we haven’t always been blessed with the “finest” International flight schedules. 

If you live in Southern California and like to travel overseas you’ve become accustomed to either driving to LAX for a nonstop flight, which is 2+ hours (give or take LA traffic) or opting for a double connection flight to get you abroad.  Both options add extra travel hours to get to your final destination…and more importantly take away from your valuable vacation time. 

Many people don’t realize that, currently, San Diego only offers 11 nonstop international flights – and of those 11, only 3 are a nonstop flight to Europe – London (Heathrow), United Kingdom on British Airways, Munich, Germany on Lufthansa and recently launched in 2025 our newest Amsterdam, Netherlands on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Only 1 to Asia – Tokyo (Narita), Japan on Japan Air. The rest are to our neighbors in Mexico and Canada.
