My Story
Hi, I’m April! Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, I bring a little aloha spirit into everything I do.
I’ve always believed that travel is about so much more than visiting beautiful destinations. It’s about immersing yourself in different cultures, discovering incredible food, connecting with people, and creating memories that stay with you long after you’ve returned home.
My love of travel and passion for creating meaningful experiences inspired me to become a luxury travel advisor. What I enjoy most about my work is getting to know my clients, understanding what makes them excited about traveling, and bringing their dream vacations to life. Forming relationships and connecting with my clients is very important to me.
I’m an avid traveler myself, and my adventures have taken me to countless countries around the world. I love exploring exceptional hotels, discovering hidden gems, and building relationships with hospitality professionals who share my passion for extraordinary experiences.
Travel has also given me the opportunity to give back. Since 2023, I’ve volunteered as an International Travel Planner for Make-A-Wish Hawaii, helping support meaningful travel experiences for wish families. I also had the privilege of serving on its Young Leaders Board in 2025. Since relocating to Arizona, I am on the Wishmakers Council for Make-A-Wish Arizona. Community always comes first.
I believe life is meant to be experienced, and there’s nothing I love more than helping others see the world in a way that’s meaningful to them.

I take a highly personalized, detail-oriented approach to travel planning. I believe no two travelers are alike, and their vacations shouldn’t be either. I take the time to understand each client’s interests, preferences, and travel style, then work with my trusted network of hospitality partners to create thoughtfully curated itineraries. From selecting the right accommodations and arranging private experiences to managing the little details that make a big difference, my goal is to make the entire process seamless, enjoyable, and memorable. Customer service is a top priority to me.

April is awesome! I met April back in June 2019 when she planned a mother daughter trip for me and my mom to New Zealand and Australia. We had such a great time that I asked her to plan our honeymoon. Rob and I went to Greece and Italy. She fulfilled our wish list on places we wanted to see and saved us a lot of time and stress in planning our trip as our honeymoon was the day after our wedding. The trip went smoothly. We ended up losing one of our suitcases towards the tail end of the trip. And it was so awesome that April called us while we were there and was checking in on us to help us locate our luggage. Fortunately we located our luggage. All in all, Rob and I had so much fun and will definitely ask April to plan our future trips

We had booked our Africa Safari through Africa House Safari’s that did a superb job arranging and booking our Safari accommodations. However when it came time to book our own flights and hotels traveling to and from Africa the task was absolutely daunting. April came to our rescue booking our flights that aligned perfectly and recommended fabulous accommodations in New York, NY on our way to Africa and our accommodations in Amsterdam on our return travels. Our next trip we’ll definitely have April book our entire trip.

April is a gem! She planned both my bachelorette weekend and honeymoon. This review will be about our Southwest Road-trip Honeymoon. Her service and attention to detail was impressive! All we did was let her know our likes and dislikes and she curated a trip filled with fun, adventure and some relaxation time. There were hidden surprises throughout the trip (thanks April) which included picnics and champagne, just to list a few.
Like all vacations, some things don’t go as planned…But April was called into action and saved the day! April is definitely someone who will make sure you get the best care and hospitality, 5-star service.
If you’re like me, someone who is tied to their job and family with no time to plan anything for yourself or loved ones…April is a breath of fresh air. She makes everything so easy, painless and stress-free. For your next trip…April is the way. I am a huge fan! And I will always Travel Chic…with April!

April did an AMAZING job planning my honeymoon in Kauai. My husband and I got married on Oahu and then flew over to Kauai a few days after the wedding. April took care of everything from helping take care of flights, rental cars, and fun activities. She not only got us a great deal with one of the hotels that included a helicopter tour and a bus tour taking us to the Waimea Canon and Fern Grotto, but she was also able to upgrade our room to ocean view and get us complimentary breakfast each morning! When we first arrived at our hotel we were greeted with champagne, cake and a letter from April! She also curated a beautiful itinerary for us that we could reference throughout the trip so there was very little thinking required once we got there!! Will definitely use April and TravelChic World in the future with any trips/vacations. Thanks April!
